[Camden] 4 Months

Weight:

My guess is he's in the 16 lb range. We go for his 4 month check-up on Thursday! 

Health: 

He has a little runny nose right now but I don't know if it's from a cold or if he's teething. He has been drooling like crazy and chewing on his hands like it's nobody's business so we are just patiently waiting for a tooth to come through!!

Clothes:

Mr. Chubby is now wearing all 6-9 month clothes! It blows my mind how much bigger he is than Keigan! I swear he is the size Keigan was when she was 1 year! So crazy!!

Social:

I started a half-time substitute position a couple of weeks ago. It is temporary (6-7 weeks) and I work from 9-12:30 so while I go to work, the kids go to Dave's grandparents. As much as I hate leaving them, this is the best job I could get. I'm only gone 4 hours so it gets us out of the house, plus I'm making a little extra money. 

Last week we got both of the kids baptized. I totally dropped the ball when Keigan was an infant to get her baptized so I waited and got them done at the same time! Of course, it was the coldest day we've had this winter (the high was 3 degrees and the low was -9). Both of the kids did great!! 

Milestones:

Cam rolled from front to back this week! I totally didn't think he would ever roll because he's just such a butterball but he proved me wrong! He's also doing so well with holding his head up and we've been practicing with his sitting up. I think by next month he'll be sitting up unassisted. 

Likes:

-Being held & talked to. He seriously lights up when anyone talks to him!

-Bath time. Absolutley loves it!

-Car rides. It puts him right to sleep.

-He loves a full belly. When he starts to get hungry, watch out! :)

-Being naked. I'd leave him naked if he wouldn't pee and poop everywhere. 

Dislikes:

-Being hungry

-Wet/dirty diaper

His dislike list is getting smaller. I can't think of too much he dislikes other than being hungry! Haha.

[Camden] 3 Months

He's now 3 1/2 months! I'm a little late on this post :)

Better late than never, right?! 

Weight: We don't get an official weight check until his 4 month check-up but I'd guess in the 14 lb range?

Health: He's a healthy little guy! We've been around a lot of sickness lately and (knock on wood) we haven't gotten sick! 

Clothes: He is now in 6 month clothes & size 2 diapers!! It's insane how fast he grows compared to Keigan. Everyone tells me how much faster boys grow compared to girls and they are 100% correct!


Diet: Still on mama's milk & boy does he like to eat!!! ;)

Likes: His mama :) Car rides Baths (His favorite!!) Playmat Kisses from his big sister Being tickled

Dislikes: Being hungry When I leave the room Not being able to see what's going on around him Tummy time

He is the sweetest little boy. His eyes are still a gorgeous blue & I hope they stay this color! This past month he has really become more interactive during play time and even grabs toys that are near his face. He is now giggling when we tickle him or when I'm acting silly!! I'll act goofy all day just to hear him giggle though :) 

Keigan {2.5 Year Update}

I know I have been totally slacking on Camden's weekly posts and I'll regret it later so I'll try to change that! I haven't done a Keigan update in a very very long time!  Ever since Camden came along, she is such a help and loves to play with him! If he is crying she tries to shush him and rock him. It's so cute!! I can't wait for him to get a little bigger and actually play with her, she'll be in heaven!! 

A few weeks ago I decided on a whim that I was going to potty train her! We had no plans for the week and the weather is so crappy so I made it a point to train her. It was seriously too easy! Within 2-3 days she had it down and haven't looked back since! I do still put a diaper on her at night but she doesn't wear diapers through the day anymore! 

We take her to dance once a week and girlfriend LOVES it! They have started practicing their dance for the recital in June and it's so cute! I can't wait to see her all dressed up and dancing on the big stage :) 

When we had her 2 year check up in August, her doctor wanted her to start speech because she just wasn't talking as much as he would have liked so we have been going once a week since October and she is definitely improving! She is starting to put few word sentences together! Finally!! :)

Her favorite TV shows these days are Paw Patrol, Blaze, Sofia, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins and Sheriff Callie! We just rotate through those shows all. day. long. By the time she goes to bed, I couldn't watch one more of those shows if I tried!!! 
Yesterday she face-timed my mom and dad by herself! I was back in the bedroom folding laundry and she came in with my mom and dad on the phone! I thought maybe they face-timed me but nope, she did it! I was amazed! She actually went to my FaceTime app and dialed them!! Thank goodness it was them and not someone else!! Haha!
